Requiem Masses and funeral services can be arranged to be held in the parish church on any day of the week except Saturdays and Sundays. All arrangements must be made in consultation with a member of the parish clergy. If necessary and when special circumstances exist, the funeral service can take place at the Funeral Chapel.

BURIAL OR CREMATION?
It should be noted that the Catholic Church allows cremation of the remains. The undertaker will provide all necessary information should this be your choice. If your preference is for a burial, then please inform the parish, as arrangements will have to be made for someone to preside at the graveside service after the Requiem Mass.

Before making funeral arrangements you should have available:

The deceased's ID book, or birth certificate, or a passport.
Details of any health-hazardous occupation of the deceased.
Details of a pension fund, or funeral policy or other funeral funding.
